RH+ 7-13
Since the rest of the series recently came available with subs, I marathoned through episodes 6-13 of Rh+ yesterday and today. I love it how the series varies between totally campy, silly episodes and then moves to more serious character stuff.
I HATE Makoto's mother for abandoning him and the evil priest who kept beating him and starving Makoto for years after his mother left him, since she thought he was a demon. The poor boy!!! And just like every abused child, he still believes in his mother, whatever she did to him :/.
Still, I do not condone Makoto's father's actions either. The vampire killed both the priest and Makoto's mother when he was seeking for his son. He seems like a total killer from what I've seen, so I'm not at all surprised Makoto's mother thought he would turn out the same. Not that that excuses her behaviour towards her son at all :P.
I have to say Makoto has turned out a surprisingly nice young man considering his past and those totally creepy parents of his :P.
This series was fun and entertaining. The BL aspect of the story was really muted and if I didn't know this was based on a shounen-ai manga, I probably would have missed it entirely. Or at least mostly.
