I finally watched the last two episodes of The Time Between Dog and Wolf and yes, it was wonderful. The DVD set will be on my shopping list as soon as it's released...
I never expected to cry when Mao died, but I did :P... The connections between Soo Hyun and Mao were so messed up by the past and both their actions in the present. It was clear that Mao had to die, but it was a tragic surprise that he used to be best friends with Soo Hyun's father.
It was very understandable that Ji-Woo and Soo Hyun wouldn't immediately get to together and live happily ever after after all that had happened. However, there is hope for the future, and shown by them both planning to go to Paris at the end of the final episode. I also liked that Min Ki ended up together with the computer lady who had always liked and supported him.
On a completely unrelated thing, I was greatly surprised when I read that the upcoming DVD set of Proposal Daisakusen is going to include an unaired final episode/special in it!
From the product description in
cdjapan:
"DVD box set from Japanese TV series "Propose Daisakusen" starring Tomohisa Yamashita and Masami Nagasawa. Box set includes all 12 episodes (11 broadcast episodes and final episode you'll only see in this box), bonus disc with creditless intro, making-of footage, special filmed just before the final episode, development annoucement footage, and report for a total of 100 minutes of special features (all details subject to change)."
I did like the way the series ended, so I greatly wonder what they will include in this extra episode to the drama...
