Recent reading

It's again been a while since I wrote anything about my recent reading. The largest chunk of my backlog consists of books 6-14 of Akimine Kamijyo's manga Samurai Deeper Kyo (86.-89., 93.-97.). Even though on the surface it might look like it's just one fight after another with some of the characters trying to determine who is the biggest badass

Oh, it really is great and I'm enjoying it a lot :).

And yet another SDK fan! (Where were they all hiding when I wanted to talk about vol. 22?)

It was my first manga and is still my favorite, even though I am frantically trying to educate myself about the genre by reading lots of different ones.

I guess it's all about timing and finding the right (virtual) group of friends to hang around with :). If you SDK, I think you might like Fullmetal Alchemist as well. FMA was my intro to the more "action-y" manga and I like it a lot!

Granted, I watched the anime first and then just skimmed over the manga, but I still love both. :)
