K/J-pop recs request for a friend
A friend of mine works at a local library and after she noticed me talking about jpop (and kpop) on my LJ, she asked if I could provide some recommendations to their acquisitions department. J-pop and all things anime and Japan are nowadays pretty big among the younger generation in Finland, so they want to get more stuff into their library.
Since I'm pretty much a total newbie in both genres, I told her that I'd ask my friendslist for recommendations, since I'm sure there are people out there who are much more knowledgeable about both Japanese and Korean pop than I am.
So, what in your opinion would be some MUST-HAVE artists that a library should have available? And feel free to pass this question on, if you think somebody else could help.
