And moving on to books, today's book-ordering consisted of:
1) The Magic Toyshop by Angela Carter. I saw a dramatised version of this in the Swedish speaking channel on Finnish TV sometime in my teens, and it left a lasting impressiong with me ( IIRC, it was subbed in Swedish and had English sound. I stumbled on the channel and was instantly captivated despite my lacking language skills.). I've been an Angela Carter fan ever since. I've been meaning to get this book ever since, but never got around to it.
2) The Essential Bordertown by Terri Windling and Delia Sherman. I love the urban fantasy Borderlands series. Again, never got around to buying this anthology before this.
3) Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr. Pre-order. Wonderful, wonderful, YA romance/urban fantasy book. I read the first version manuscript last year and squeed about it briefly here. (Finding the Summer Queen was the manuscript name of the book).
4) Jade Tiger by Jenn Reese. I think it was mentioned by norilana (or was it norilanabooks). But, anyhoo, the book sounded just like my kind of thing - some action, some romance, some fantasy, etc.
5) The Game by Diane Wynne Jones. Pre-order. A large portion of my f-list will need no explanation as to why I ordered this book :). For the others: DWJ has been my favourite author ever since I was 11or 12 and first read Charmed Life (several times). After that, I've tried to get my hands on everything she has written.
