Devil Beside You 11-12 & Duelist

I hate my ISP right now, since it's acting incredibly wonky at the moment. First it lets me connect to some pages, but the next instant I can't get there at all. It's completely erratic at the moment. Grr. I just want to post my LJ entry if that isn't too much!

I watched episodes 11&12 of Devil Beside You and adorable is the only way I can describe them :). They are so sweet and fluffy and adorable that there are no words that can really describe them. Perfect counterpoint from the angstier stuff I've watched recently :).

But there are also darker clouds on the horizon, since Ah Meng's grandmother clearly hates the idea of AM and Qi Yue together. I actually like the way the arranged marriage angle is handled in this series.

Today I also watched the 90 min documentary on the making of the Duelist that was on my 3 DVD limited edition set. Judging by it, it looks like the director Lee Myun-se is pretty hard on his actors and staff and demands a lot from them.

Interestingly enough, only Ha Ji-Won appeared briefly in the documentary. There were no comments from Kang Dong-Wong and only a few glimpses of him. Though I have to say I loved the shots of him and Ha Ji-Won practicing tango in preparation for their fight scenes.
