Silence, Episode 18
I think I'll try to finish watching Silence tonight, however painful it gets because there are only two episodes left and then at least I'll be through with it.
WeiYi really is a loving son, and tries his best to take care of his mother. He looks so sad when he asks her not to do anything like it again.
It's awfully sad, when Mom tells WY that she now regrets her marriage, because through it, she has caused the death of someone and ruined one family's lives. She's telling him that his dad dumped his former family in order to marry her, but she didn't know about it. Poor WeiYi, having all this dumped on him, and having to comfort his mother in her guilt :(.
So he does finally learn that Tsui Li is his half-sister and is bent on ruining the family.
Hee, I loved SS's mischievous expression when she heard the music outside just after WY had asked what was going to be his "big punishment" for making her wait for him all night *g*. LOL, she's making him ask the wacky sister to teach him to dance. His expression is so pained and 'do I really have to do this?', but SS just motions him forward. ROTFLOL!
Oh no, Tsui Li sees an e-mail on XG's computer which tells that WY has liver cancer and only three months to live. I just know she will try to use the information in the most destructive way possible. *already dreading what she will do* Stupid XG for leaving her computer unattended like that with an e-mail of that nature right on the screen!
Grr, the evil father is trying to pump ZJ for information on SS and her family and is telling him of his own conspiracy theories. He's offering ZJ money and fame if he'll just take SS away from WY. He's such a creep! But ZJ tells him that SS can't be bought.
Tsui Li is telling ZJ that he pushed WY's mother into trying to commit suicide. Why is she telling him all this? She also informs him that all the assets are in mom's name and once she does, WY is the only inheritor to everything. Which is when ZJ realizes that that's why the evil father is so desperate to get WY back - if he can control WY, he can control the fortune. He thinks everybody else would behave the same way as he, so SS must naturally be after WY only for his money. He really is hateful.
Sniff, the scene where mom joins SS and WY's hands and says that them being together is very good was so moving. Awww, WY looks like he's on the brink of tears at his mother's words. Even the mother looks happier than she has for a while now. Seeing her son's happiness must be a great comfort to her, but I just know she'll completely devastated when she finds out about his illness :(.
Aww, SS left mom a note saying that she has experienced the sorrow of losing her mother, but hopes WeiYi will not have to experience the same sorrow.
Heh, I loved when Yellow pretended to die from his sister's death glare *g*. She saw WY and SS together and is ranting on the evil nature of all men.
The sister is inviting WY to her "20th" birthday party. LOL, she's actually 35! She looks so grudging when she gives SS and invitation as well.
ZJ is trying to resign from his job, but Tsui Li keeps on asking him how he'll be able to take care of SS if he has no job. He replies that SS doesn't need him anymore, but then she drops the bombshell and tells him about WY having only a few months left to live. Argh, why does everybody else know and not SS or WY's mom!
LOL, WY has a fake cast on his leg and tells the sister that it's his costume for her party *g*. And SS shows up dressed as a Martian! Their own private joke, but so hilarious!
XG is dressed as a hunter, so Yellow turns with an arrow sticking from his chest and says he's the prey for the hunter. Aww. So sweet! LOL, WeiYi looks so amused at XG's discomfort.
Oh no, WY starts getting another attack in the middle of the party. He tries to hide it by hugging SS tightly, but XG saves the day and quickly thinks of a way to get him out in a way that hides the real reason. He still doesn't want SS to know and he can't even go upstairs for his pain medication, because the key is with SS.
Poor WY, he really looks like he's in an awful lot of pain right now. Oh no, he's bleeding! And of course ZJ, who has gone to the house to confront him about the news, sees him like this. He's so enraged, asking WY how he will be able to take care of SS and give her happiness if he has a terminal illness?! He's offering to trade whatever organ is needed for WY's cancer because he has to live, since he's the one SS wants. *BAWL!*
I knew these last few episodes would turn into a major angst-fest!
Heh, WY and ZJ are bonding. Hee, ZJ's story about the little mermaid and how he always thought SS lost her voice so that he would be there to take care of him. But then he continues with "she is not a mermaid and I'm not a prince. What happened between us are now bubbles."
Aww. He really has given up on SS and accepted that she cares only for WY. He warns WY that however much time they have together with SS, not to let their love turn into bubbles.
I think the last episode is going to sooooo sad! I'm getting very melancholy here.
The scene with SS and ZJ together at the beach was really great. He really has accepted that she will not love him and is giving her advice with WY :). Aww, he's even offering to teach WY signs language so that he'll be able communicate better with SS.
What is WY's evil creep father up to? He's clearly planning on something. EVIL BASTARD! He's framing ZJ with the important business disc and is telling SS that only she can save him if she agrees to never see WY again. HATE HIM! He should die, not WeiYi!!! BURN IN HELL!!!!
Poor SS is in such a difficult situation, being forced to choose between saving her family and the man she loves. WeiYi looks so happy at the dinner, but SS looks so sad. F*ck! I think she is planning on leaving WY and sacrificing their love in order to save ZJ.
