Silence, Episode 16
I watched this about halfway through last night, but was too tired to finish it, so I had to continue with it today.
Heh, I loved the cleaning lady's reaction when Yellow came home carrying yet another unconscious person. She was wondering why it was a man this time *g*. "Not right, how come is a man?" LOL
Her reaction when she finally sees that it's the handsome young CEO is hilarious, as is Yellow's amused reaction when he hears that this is the man his sister was talking about as being crazy in love with her *g*.
Poor sister, she's so sad when she hears that the man is XG's fiancé. LOL, she thinks he just wanted to have an affair with her. She's such a drama queen :).
Hee, when she hears that WeiYi is XG's former fiancé who apparently broke off the engagement because he is in love with another woman, the sister is overjoyed again, thinking that, of course, it was her *g*. This is so funny!
Heh, Yellow keeps on saying to himself that he will never inform XG that WY is at his house, but then next that is shown is of XG hurrying to the house to check out how WY is doing :).
She is begging him to go to the hospital, but he refuses because he doesn't want to waste his last moments there.
Heh, the brother and sister waiting outside and wondering what they are talking about or doing together in the room *g*. Both are so jealous :).
WY is such a nice guy. When he hears that Yellow carried him to the house, he only thinks how jealous he must be and is intent on leaving as soon as possible to spare his feelings. Poor WeiYi, he really has no place to go to now that his father has disowned him. XG suggests that he stay at least temporarily at Yellow's place, since they have the extra room.
It looks like she's finally letting go of WY. About time! She apologizes for trying to separate him and SS, which only resulted in herself getting hurt. "Maybe to have a short but joyful and beautiful memory is not really a cruel thing to do." Awww!
Aww, he asks her to give his mother a message for him. Mom is asking if XG knew about SS for a long time, and she's admitting that yet she did. Mom doesn't really know what to say at this, but she continues that she really likes the recent change in WY and wonders if it was possibly because of SS. Poor XG, this must be really uncomfortable for her.
Mom wants her son to find his true love and is happy for him, but she also feels sad, because XG got hurt in the process. She's so nice. There is hope even for her, because she says she has now learned to let go (of her horrible husband, of course). She's advicing XG to let go as well, because that's the only way she can restart her life. Awww.
WeiYi's father really is evil. He has cancelled all of WY's credit cards and frozen his bank accounts in order to force him to come back to him on his terms. He really can think only of money and his own position. Hateful man. Goes directly to the top of my hateful fathers in doramas list :).
It's clear that the evil secretary is taking great enjoyment at the situation. She's so clearly gloating there at the office.
Hah, WeiYi's father goes to the Zuo residence to find SS and WY. ZJ seems like a very good guy when he's defending his family, it's only when he gets jealous of SS that he reverts into a major jerk. Even though he knows it might cost him his job, he stands up for SS against the Chairman.
What a creep! He's still trying to offer SS money if she lets go of WY. He really doesn't know his son at all if he thinks he will abandon SS now.
But SS says to him that they are really in love and even if he has nothing, she will stay with him. When her mother died, WY gave her strength and warmth, and their pure innocent hearts came together. I'm actually feeling rather sorry for ZJ who has to translate SS's declaration of love for the Chairman.
Hah, SS says that the Chairman is jealous of her and WY, because he himself is incapable of loving anyone else than himself. His declarations of being able to live without love are rather heated. "If I can live without love, so can my son." He's probably referring to his first wife, because it seems he really did love her at least a bit, but in the end loved money and position more.
Poor SS, she's wondering where WY really is, because she hasn't heard anything from him. She keeps sending him text messages asking him to contact her :(.
Hee, Yellow's sister is so funny telling WeiYi about the office gossips, but saying that it's their own little secret that he's staying at her house :). She's suggesting he rent their top floor since he doesn't now have a place to go to, and says the rent doesn't matter, it's enough that he has now agreed to live under the same roof. LOL.
And now that she's his landlady, she can ask him a personal question: is it true that he and XG annulled their engagement because he is in love with another woman? (Of course, thinking thatit's herself *g*) And her happy reaction when he admits it. ROTFL!
She's telling him that he must have the courage to show his love, even though they were separated in the future. Who knows what will happen in the future, he has to live in the moment and love hard now.
Heh, loved the way she slammed to door shut immediately after she saw XG and just said that Yellow is not home *g*.
Hmm, ZJ has a really thoughtful expression on his face when he puts the blanket on SS who has fallen asleep with her mobile in her hand, waiting for WY to contact her. Maybe he, too, is finally letting go of SS.
XG is telling WY that he should tell his mother about his illness. She loves him so much, and it's going to be such a horrible shock to her. He says he will, but I wonder if he'll really do it and when... He's so protective of her, that he might think she's better off not knowing until it's to late.
Aww, XG is asking Yellow what he would do if he found out she had only three months to live. He really loves her, because he says that the would with all his might try to get WY back for her, because that's what she seems to want the most.
Aww, she goes to SS and gives her WY's address. It seems she has some nice moments as well. She says that she still loves WY, but this is her way of showing her love for him. Awww. (This episode really has turned into a major "aww"-fest *g*.)
*squee* His reaction when he sees SS walking on the street! He looks so happy, and he rushes to the door to meet her. Loved the tight tight hug they give each other at their reunion. And he promises her that he won't leave her. *sniff*
He's asking her if she'll still love him now that he has nothing, and she replies that she believes in their promise. Aww, he wants to learn sign language so that he can understand everything she says to him and can share her world. *sniff*
He looks so sad when he thinks, "I am not going to fight with fate. I am going to use my remaining days to tightly embrace this warmth." *getting weepy again*
Sigh, he's still wondering if it's right to give SS the hope of love when he knows it will only last a short time. I just hope doesn't do anything stupid and self-sacrificing again...
Gah, ZJ's behaving like a jerk again. He's blaming WY for getting SS humiliated and is asking her how long will she continue taking it all for his sake. He says that her treating him like a brother is a way of making herself feel better, because she's giving him a way to back down. But he feels that he doesn't have a sister, only Chou ShenShen and he doesn't want to treat her like a sister. He's pressuring her again, even though he knows that she loves WY. Grrr!
Heh, Yellow looks so hopeful when XG tells him that she has given WY's address to SS. It might be his big chance now :).
LOL, poor rich boy is totally hopeless in domestic life. Eating biscuits for lunch, indeed. Hee, they are so cute together :). She looks so horrified when she sees he only has bottled water in his refrigerator. He explains he has no cash since his father cancelled all his credit cards, but she says she will help him. Awww.
Hee, he asks to borrow Yellow's clothes, because SS says he can't go in a suit to the market. Initially Yellow looks disgusted, but when he hears that the girl is that ShenShen, he immediately agrees. *g*
Heh, WY looks really uncomfortable in sandals and casual clothes. Not quite what he's used to wearing :). It's also so funny when SS tries to teach him to bargain at the market and he feels that it doesn't really matter, but she tells him that they need to save money.
They are so sweet and happy together in this episode, but I know the misery is going to start any moment now, because this can't last. Immediately after this thought he started to have yet another pain attack, but only kept thinking that if he suddenly died at that moment, he would be really happy :(.
I'm already scared of how bad the remaining episodes are going to be :/.
When SS asks him what's wrong, he's still keeps pretending it's nothing serious. I wonder when he's going to tell her the truth. He can't even stand, SS must be frantic, but he's still refusing to go to the hospital. I knew their earlier happiness couldn't last.
I'm feeling weepy just at the thought of him dying off, so I'm sure I'll be totally devastated in the last episode. Aww, he asks her to stay by his side through the night, because it brings him comfort. That position must be really uncomfortable, but she still stays with him. Awww.
Sigh, ZJ is staying up the night, too, waiting for SS to get home. When will he learn to let go of her... I really don't want her to go to him when WY dies, because he's so insanely jealous and obsessive about her. Poor Uncle Zuo, it must be killing him that he can't do anything about the way his two children are hurting each other.
WY, the next morning: "I love her, but I am so selfish to want to die beside her." No, don't anything stupid now! Stay with her as long as you can!
Aww, SS is thinking that her presence in the Zuo household has only brought them pain. And when Uncle Zuo suggests that he ask ZJ to move out for a while, her instant response is that she will move. She only thanks him for caring and loving her for all these years, but thinks she can't cause trouble for them anymore.
It was funny for a while, but I don't like it how they keep making Yellow's sister the object of hilarity in this show. Why is it always the slightly older, perhaps slightly over-weight woman that is made to act in a ridiculous manner in order to attract the attention of a pretty young male. Sam-Soon at least had the pretty young male falling in love with the slightly older woman :). But I don't think that will happen in this series. Yellow's sister is only going to end up getting hurt, and it's all being played out for laughs.
Previews: I actually feel sad for ZJ, but SS and WY look so happy and joyful together. Ok, what is the thing about SS's father, WY's father gets all worked up when he hears her father's name? XG comforting him because he feels fate has cheated him - I knew the painful bits would start soon. Sigh.
I have to say VZ has really developed as an actor from MG, where he was mostly there just to look pretty. In this drama he shows that he can act as well.
