I just got a package of new review books from the post office, but when I opened it, I couldn't help laughing out loud at a few of the offerings. As some of you already know, I read mostly YA/children's fantasy&SF. Well, I very much doubt the latest book (Dark Side of the Moon) in Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series (=supernatural romance) or Gregory David Roberts's Shantaram fall under the YA heading...
Of the two others, I suspect Stan Nicholls's Orcs (an omnibus edition containing Bodyguard of Lightning, Legion of Thunder, Warriors of the Tempest and The Taking) is also aimed at slightly older readers. I think only E. L. Young's S.T.O.R.M.: The Infinity Code looks like the stuff I usually read.
Not that I'm complaining, since I hadn't bothered to get the Kenyon book yet (the British edition is out, but the US edition won't be published until later this month), and my own copy of the Roberts book has been on my TBR pile for a while now. Now I'll even get paid reading these two books I was planning to read at some point anyway :).
