Silence, Episode 12
Hah, that's right you stupid woman (XG). WeiYi sees you only as a responsibility. Maybe now you'll finally believe that he doesn't love you and doesn't want you. He never loved you! Move on! But noooo, she accuses him of being selfish. Gah!
So the evil secretary has reported to WeiYi about the other woman in QingDoa, and that ZJ can help with the situation, but I guess she deliberately left out a few details...
I'm really starting to hate the near-misses WeiYi and SS keep having. Just as she goes into an elevator going up to deliver his food order, he is cominig down in another elevator and is going out to meet her at the food stand. ARGH!
It seems Uncle Zuo is conspiring with ZJ to keep WeiYi and ShenShen apart. He, too, should know that you can't force SS to love ZJ if she has feelings for someone else.
I'm finding that this dorama drags quite a bit at times, with all the flashbacks and silent staring when none of the characters can't voice out their feelings, but I fin especially annoying the parts when they try to artificially keep WY and SS apart and throw all kinds of obstacles on their path from near-misses to other people conspiring against them. I want my OTP back together already, dammit!
EEEE! Just after I finished writing that, WeiYi turns back and heads towards the food cart and SS! Yes!!!! At last they are meeting again!
I loved the light hesitant smile on SS's face when she sees him across the car, while he's more openly smiling at her. And then they are sitting together in the park, eating the two meals that were left over from the cart and end up spending some time together. And when she leaves, she sends him a message asking when they will meet again. How sweet!
But then he has to start hesitating again and decides to leave their meeting up to fate. Sometimes I really want to shake him! Go after the woman already, you idiot, and make your own fate!
Heh, SS really is spelling it out to ZJ that she sees him only as a brother and not as a lover. She's toasting their brother-sister relationship, saying that sister will always forgive brother, etc. And she even asks him "what if I'm in love with another man?" when he tries to keep on in declaring his non-brotherly love for her. But he really is a persistant one, since he replies "never mind, you will come back to me at the end." and says he will forgive her. GAH!!! *wants to smack him a few times* I sure hope not! He's so wrong for her!
Poor SS! She looks so unhappy at his words and his reaction :(.
Hee, I love the scene where the cleaning lady scolds WeiYi about walking with dirty shoes across the floor she has just cleaned. She clearly has no idea who he is *g*. She even advices him to find a job at another company as soon as possible, because this one is a completely inhumane one. *hee* And she keeps on telling him how the CEO is a complete workaholic and a bit weird, and that he always fires people and that all the workers are terrified of him. He sure is getting an earful on his own shortcomings. *g*
But what I liked most was his reaction: he doesn't get angry at her (his father probably would have been livid), he only asks her to tell him what she considers humane treatment of workers, and probably will even take her advice into serious consideration. What a great guy :).
When he says he will pass on her suggestions on to the CEO, the poor woman looks so surprised and horrified there and tells him again how scared everyone is of the CEO. I wonder what her reaction will be when she finally finds out who she was talking with :D.
The last minute packing factory thing was another great scene that showed everyone that WeiYi isn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. He's packing there stuff with everyone else in order to meet the midnight deadline and all the workers respect him the more for it. Though I do have to say he's surprisingly fit and hard-working for a man with terminal cancer who has only three months to live any more *g*.
WeiYi looks so happy and content sitting there with the workers. He's really smiling and enjoying himself. Though his realisation that he has never felt as happy and joyful before is rather sad.
I can see XG is planning something when she asks to interview SS for an article on disabled persons. She keeps trying to hint that her handicap can make her a burden to other people and that being mute could hinder her ability to give her love to someone. She accuses SS of trying to steal her fiance and of her dating two men at the same time. I knew her claws would come out at some point :P. She really is such a hateful bitch!
But her diatrible against SS also has the good point that now SS finally, FINALLY finds out Qi WeiYi's name and finds out that he is the boy she has been looking for all these years. Took her long enough! And she rushes out of the restaurant to find him. But then she starts having doubts that he's mad at her for losing the phone number and is punishing her, because he never revealed who he was. Poor SS. But then she decides to let fate give her an answer - reflecting WeiYi's earlier words and looks so happy again.
XG clearly realized something was wrong when SS looked so shocked at hearing WeiYi's name and rushed out, so now she's calling ZJ to find out if SS didn't know who WY really was. Now ZJ knows the game is up and tells her that he has tried his best to keep it from SS, and calls XG an idiot for revealing it to her. He's still trying everything he can to keep SS as his sole possession. He really is annoying me a lot!
But looks like fate is deciding things for WY and SS, since it seems both of them have decided to go for a visit to the countryside at the same time. WY is at the tree where they used to sit, and she goes to their old meeting place, but when she sees that he's not there, she looks so dejected. But then she sees him from the roof of the the hospital and rushes down to meet him.
NOOOO, you can't do this! Not another near-miss!!! (I was literally screaming at the screen at this point!) The scriptwriters are evil, EVIL I say!!!
Then she sees him on the rooftop where she just left and starts to wave at him, but he doesn't notice her. SS texts him to look down and get his answer from fate. *squee* But then fate intervenes again, and ZJ who has just come to the place and is standing beside her is hit by a car.
WY sees how much SS is worrying about ZJ at the hospital and how close they seem. OH NO! He thinks she loves ZJ! EVIL writers! I hate them!
And then Uncle Zuo is asking him to back off too, so that his son would have a chance with SS. GRRR! And WY replies that he will keep his distance. *I'm so angry right now!*
It's so sad when he's sitting alone in the car and crying, and saying that "at least I have experienced the feelings of losing my love." *crying*
He's so sad telling XG that he is the most unpopular person in the company and that the feeling of losing one's love is so painful. And he's apologizing to her for hurting her so badly and tells her how very selfish he is, and that today he has for the first time experienced that pain himself. *sniff*
The previews are making me very anxious to watch the next episode, too, but I have to let the computer cool down a bit. I want to meet faithful friend's sister *g*. But it looks like I will hate ZJ again. He is behaving so hatefully towards SS all the time :P.
