Silence Episode Eight
Hmm, WeiYi is still visiting the past and Dr. Soo, the only link he has to that girl he knew. But now he gets SS's old notebook - EEEEE! He's finally going to find out who she is!
The look of suprise and also regret on his face, and now he's remembering all their recent meeting in a completely different light. EEEEE! Now it's clearly fate, the way they keep bumping into each other everywhere.
Wow, SS made a sound! But it seems she still can't consciously form sounds, only when she was surprised did she make the slight "ah" sound. The mental blocks are too strong - they will probably break only on WeiYi's deathbed or something like that... ZuoJun looks first so elated, and later so disappointed when the little sound SS made only seems like a fluke. Of course, SS is disappointed, too, since she was surprised when that sound came out of her mouth, but now she can't repeat it anymore.
ZuoJun's speech about him fearing the time when SS will be able to talk is quite revealing, because after she recovers the use of her voice, she will no longer be dependent on him and won't be his "responsibility" any more. She will be independent and can do whatever she wants and that might cause him to lose her. He's awfully possessive, just witness the way he conceals WeiYi's identity and also long time ago hid his phone number from SS.
That woman who originally sold them out sure has changed from the way she was. Now she's taking care of AhHan and AhLin as if they were her own children, while in the past she hated having anything to do with them. She really is redeeming herself.
But when she sees SS, she has to start covering up for her kindness, saying that she doesn't really like children. SS can't help wondering why people who can talk can't really say what they feel. She herself is always so open about her feelings and shows through her actions what she means, since she can't do it through words.
Squee, WeiYi back in GungDao and comes to seeks out SS! He calls out to her on the street and just smiles at her, and there's this incredulous and then happy look on SS's face when she sees him. *swoon* And they just keep staring at each other and smiling as he slowly walks to her. GUUH!
Sigh, what he says on the inside ('I want to hold this girl tightly in my arms.') and on the outside ('I just want you to deliver these uniforms quickly so that you will move and I can get my profit.' are such opposite things.
The the comment, "oh lord you must undestand how I long to tightly hold on to the last miracle of my life" and I'm a soggy mess again. *bawling* Aww, he really is smiling so much there with SS and the kids. And he keeps giving SS all these hints as to who he really is, but she remains completely oblivious. Wake up, woman!!! Lucky star, roast beef rice, life on Mars, she really should start getting the clue already! Gah!
*fans self* The look he gives her, when she dabs his face with that cloth after they reach ShiXi residence. So hot! And she gets discomfited and backs away again. But he thanks for giving him one of the happiest moments in his life, just like she promised earlier.
ZuoJun really is behaving like a complete jerk in his jealousy, since he heard from the evil secretary that WeiYi is back in town and since she's so late, he's sure she was with him. Poor SS, she doesn't understand what got on to him, since she hasn't even yet acknowled to herself her feelings for WY.
I'm really starting to dislike ZJ. Now he's warning WeiYi off again, and clearly reveals that he at least knows that WY was the boy SS met in the past, but he hasn't revealed that to her. :P He should learn that he can't force SS to love him, however much he takes care of her. I can't stand how possessive he is, as if SS was his personal property with no say in the matter herself. Gah!
I can see WeiYi going to try to push her away, because he can't offer any future for her, and ZJ clearly is willing to stay with her forever. I'm starting to hurt already from the mere thought...
At least ZJ is now telling SS that he is feeling threatened by WeiYi and scared of losing ShenShen, and that's why he's been behaving so irritably lately. But then he has to ruin it all by asking SS never to see WY again because she can't like him. And she tells him that how can she like him when she cried all night because of ZJ - and poor WY is just behind the corner and hears this. Ok, back to hating ZJ. And SS really is oblivious about her own feelings....
The look on SS's face shows that her real answer to the question who she would like to talk with first if she can talk again clearly isn't ZuoJun, though that's what she says. She should just be honest about her feelings and not give poor ZJ false hope, because that will only end in more hurt later on!
When WY is asking his doctor friend if he still has the right to love, HanSin is clearly thinking he talks of XG, since he was just in phone with her and is himself in love with her, and tells him that refusing to love in the face of death is cowardice. Gah, now he's telling WeiYi that it's his "responsibility" to love XG, because he's the one she loves. HanSin looks so shocked when WeiYi replies that he has just realized that he never really loved XG. But argh! He's denying his love for her because he doesn't want her to cry for him when he goes...
Oh no, this is the fake Christmas episode! I'm tearing up already from the thought.... And he's thinking that he will leave her behind forever if he can just have this one happy evening with her. *sniff*
This really is such a wonderful scene, but I can hardly see it since I'm crying so hard! *BAWL!!*
Get a clue already! He's been giving you all kinds of hints and now he's saying he wants to pretend it's Christmas 2006 with her!!! And still she doesn't understand! ARGH!

From the previews it looks like I'll hate ZJ even more after next episode...
I think I'll watch some Meteor Garden now, because I can only take so much pain at a time... This series really is making me awfully depressed.
