Silence Episode Six

Nov 02, 2006 02:23

This must be a new record, since I'm only six episodes into the series and I was already bawling while watching this episode :/. I was warned that Silence is extremely angsty, but this bad and this early?! And it'll probably only get worse the further along in the series I get. I'll probably be a complete wreck by the time I reach the end of the final episode... *very afraid*

There really are a lot of idiots at Youtube, since the comments are full of spoilers about what happens in the end. Gah!

So the wife of that man didn't leave ShiXi after all, but I bet her decision had something to do with that evil secretary whom she met on the street. I knew it, she has an envelope stashed full of money in her purse and she's remembering her instructions to get everyone out within two days! This is going to end badly, I know it...

It's funny how SS and WeiYi keep constantly exchanging those text messages without anyone knowing - it's almost like a repeat of the past when they exchanged the secret letters between themselves. And immediately after I have these thoughts, Uncle comments that she's exchanging love letters through text messages *g* and she tries to completely deny everything, but just seeing that smile when she received the message should be enough to tell anyone how she feels about the messages.

The evil bitch (either the wife or the secretary, take your pick) has clearly paid those goons to destroy the cloth so that they can't finish the order and will have to leave earlier than planned.

That woman really is horrible, screaming at the children and telling that they were to blame for their parents' deaths, Uncle BianDoa's arm and everything. *give me something dull so that I can slowly stab her with it*, because they are unlucky and their bad luck will destroy everyone around them, and that life would be better for everyone if it wasn't for them. What a harpy! *wants to strangle her*

It looks like this series is really going to try to jerk out all the tears it can - orphan homeless children going away in pouring rain, and all... No, not crying yet, but I know it will come. Ok, so it isn't pouring when they leave, but they are still leaving so as not to be burdens to others anymore. Poor kids.

Hee, the big CEO shows again that he isn't heartless, when he gives the car keys to ZJ so that it would be easier to search for AhHan and AhLin. ZuoJun looks quite surprised at the gesture, I don't think he would have believed that WY had it in him, but actually he's quite nice underneath the cold businessman exterior.

Aww, poor hungry children wondering the streets all alone. This is a bit too calculated a ploy to work with me atm, but, still, aww. And that horrible harpy's attitude when AhFook gets home is just oh well, good riddance, we're better off without them. Really hate her!

Then he sees the envelope full of money in her belongings, and the envelope has the logo of WeiYi's company on it. Oh no, now everyone will believe he was the one who pretended to give them an extension, but on the background was still secretly trying to get rid of them anyway. :(

Poor SS, she looks so hurt and betrayed when she overhears the fight and sees the envelope, but then her expression changes to a resolved one again. She grabs the money and immediately runs to WeiYi's office to accuse him of the ploy. She looks so hurt when she throws the money at him. *sniff*

He looks quite surprised and that evil secretary is only there smiling in the background. Grrr. But the comments of the people from the meeting she interrupted were funny, "Who is that mute to our CEO? Just like a husband and wife having an argument.", because they are so true.

Oh no, he clearly has no idea what SS is talking about, but he's just going to act like he could care less about other people and they just deserve their misfortune. I guess he's already heard the news and is now raging against the world inside and wants to make other people suffer as well and wants to push SS away from him. *sigh*

ShenShen to WeiYi: "you are cold blooded and selfish, for you to live in this world is a total waste." Frak, even from the previews I knew this episode would make me cry! *bawling*

I guess when ZuoJun sees the amount of hurt SS is feeling about WeiYi's apparent betrayal, it only confirms to him that SS was falling in love with WY and that he really had no hope.

Hah, that evil secretary really stupid and greedy enough to come to the office while WeiYi is there, apparently sleeping, in order to get back the money. *shakes head at her stupidity* Ah, but he can't fire her, since his father was behind it all. And she's all smug about it. *wants to smack her*

Aww, he's walking the streets all alone and depressed and then he happens to see AhHan and AhLin being about to be beaten by some guy for being thieves and he comes to the rescue. My hero! And then he takes the children home to ShiXi. Awww!

And when they go in and everyone comes to see how they are and is so glad to have them back, AhLin is proudly showing off her new shoes as is AhHan and they tell that the CEO bought them for them and point toward the gate. And to swelling music SS runs out to see him walking away from ShiXi - he clearly brought the children home, he can't be as bad as it seems.... *heart bursting*

Ah, so he didn't know yet, because he is just being asked to go to the hospital for further examinations - he knows it must be something serious. Oh no, I knew it would be cancer! Oh no! EEEEEK! Only three months!!! OH NO!

And there he is walking on the beach looking hot and angsty all depressed and alone, in a complete state of shock about the news, and remembering ShenShen's words about him being a horrible person who doesn't deserve to live, and then he's making that "lucky star" sign and is wondering which lucky star he will be on after he's left this world. *BAWLING!*

Poor WeiYi, sitting there all alone in the middle of all those partying people. And then the only person he can contact is SS and he sends a text message asking if he his life really is a complete waste and I'm crying again.

Her advice that he should live his life to the fullest clearly takes root, especially with the amount of time he has left, since next morning *Eeee!** he's at the ShiXi residence and spies on SS looking so pretty and full of life and he's just smiling at her antics and is looking so longingly after her.

She notices him leaving and runs to the street and is clearly wondering what he was doing there. And I'm shouting "Look back, look back!" And he does! EEEEE! And they are staring at each other intensely and smiling and I'm dead from the hotness of it all.

Then they are in the park together and he starts talking with her through writing again and asks what she would most like to do if the world were to end tomorrow. *sigh, this is so sad!* And she answers that she would try her best to fulfill her dreams, and he's looking so longingly at her while she's writing that note *swoon*. I love this exchange, because next he asks her why she still cares for him, and she answers that because he realises he's selfish he's curable and she has to save him *more swooning*.

When she shows him the gesture for "lucky", he asks her what is the sign for "lucky star" and she's thinking of their private sign, but shows him the proper signs instead. And he replies that he knows another way but it's secret. ARGH, I wonder how long it will take before they will realize who they both are?

OMG, he grabs her hand when she's leaving and they are staring so intensely at each other and he's caressing her cheek and I'm shouting KISS!KiSS!KISS!, and they are *so* close, but of course they don't and she runs away from him. *pout* *rewatches* *thud*

Heh, ZunJuo's dreams are all so materialistic, and then he's in the backseat of the car and WY has clearly acted as his chauffeur to ShiXi and they are laughing together. So funny.

I loved how everyone at the residence was helping with the suits and in the end, even that horrible wife comes to help them, too.

How prophetic, WeiYi's fianceée is looking at pictures and suddenly focuses on a photo where ShenShen is on the background between WeiYi and her.

10 days are up, but then the ShiXi people get more good news, the demolition won't start until they have all moved away. Everyone is so ecstatic, but I'm sure the evil secretary and WY's father will not be too happy about it.

WeiYi is home lying in pain on the bed, but all I kind think is that VZ looks scorching HOT in a black in a shirtless top and brown trousers. *fans self*

Ah, the doctor is calling WY's fiancée and is asking her to come and visit. And then he asks her if WeiYi has talked anything about his illness. When it's clear she knows nothing, he tries to cover it up the best he can, but XiaoGuang is now wondering there really is something wrong with WeiYi.

But when she tries to call him, he has already got fed up with the ringing of the phone and throws it against the wall (looking extremely hot all the time) and starts smashing all phones in the apartment. It's a suprise my computer didn't have another meltdown, that's how hot Vic was looking in that scene...

Then the evil secretary is there and is forcing him to call his father to explain about his actions regarding the ShiXi estate. His father is only berating him, but WeiYi assures him that he's ok, but he's heard his mother is unwell and is asking his father if he has the time to take care of her for WeiYi. At this, the secretary who saw his state is clearly starting to realize that something is wrong with WeiYi, but his father is only full of business matters.

It's pretty clear that he really is the kind of cold heartless business man WeiYi is only pretending to be, and WeiYi's mother seems completely down-trodden by her tyrant of a husband.

Hee, it must be a terrible shock to XG when she hears from Uncle Zuo that ShenShen, too, is at QingDao, just like WeiYi. I suspect she will now be in a hurry to get there to see what is going on... But then she's talking with faithful friend of feeling uncertain and that sometimes she feels more like friends with WeiYi. I think the friend was more serious about asking her to date him than she thinks, but then she doesn't see him that way because he's younger and as a faithful friend is often joking with her to cheer her up.

This dorama really seems to be full of eye candy, Vic Chou, the doctor, this faithful friend, even ZJ are quite nice all in their own way :).

Aww, the way he carries XG home and tucks her into bed and then says that in his mind there's nothing wrong with sister-brother romance... And then just sits there gazing at the sleeping XG, and says that age is not a problem if you like someone. *swoon* I knew he was head over heels in love with her. Yesh! I just hope something comes out of this eventually, or are the evil scriptwriters going to crush this OTP as well?

Oh, WeiYi so angsty and refusing to answer the phone, and when he finally does and yes that the world should be able to function without him, of course it's ShenShen who calling him and looks quite surprised at the answer he got. And he's there breathing heavily in rage, but then dorama-ESP tells him that it's SS after all and he calms down. Um, why would she call him if she can't talk? *baffled*

But then they are meeting in the park, but he's hiding behind the corner, just looking at her. He almost goes to her, but then he remembers again that he has only three months to live and stops. What could a dying man offer her?

Ok, it looks like the previews promise more angst and crying in the next episode. Oh well, at least I'll be prepared.
