Goong, Episode Six

Oct 17, 2006 05:25

I'm really starting to get badly addicted to this series... Just check out the time I'm posting this...

Heee, how restrained(ly jealous) Shin looks when he sees CG with Yul that one morning. I can well understand why people were shipping CG/Yul at this point, because he seems so much more open and willing to talk with her, but CG/restrained emotions boy is definitely my ship already.

But, I have to say, EEEEE! Yul, too, has resorted to wearing evil pink sweaters. They really have awful clothes for men in this one...

Go CG, for telling Shin off for his behaviour, and he's almost apologizing, but then he has to hide behind a wall again. How frustrating.

And then the White Lotus tea tasting ceremony. Everybody else (Shin & his father) is so high-flowing in their poetry, but CG's poem concentratres on the very down-to-earth sense of the garden smelling good. I'm really liking the Queen Mother, she is much more likeable than anybody else in the palace!

Heh, LOL, about CG and her cronies telling Yul all the methods to cut class and on how to order food with slang terms in the cafe :). She is really lively and likeable, I'm not at all surprised he's falling for her. Poor guy.

Shin Lee also, the way he talks to Yul when he comes to see their "golf" excercise and then invites him to the riding thingy - he's clearly very jealous of the attention CG is paying to him even though he can't really admit it at this point. Those blue-red costumes of theirs are beautiful, btw.

It's quite amusing how she's always doing the victory mark, and it is her trademark expression, as she remarks to him, when he's scolding her that she's looking ridiculous. And he seems accept it at that and even almost hugs her afterwards.

And then he is immediately egged afterwards and she throws herself in front of him. Aww, the look on his face...

But... Yul really seems to be the only one she can unburden herself at in the palace, even though he's allowed there only once a day. He really is turning into her confidant, but I don't think she realizes that he is also starting to have feelings for her.

Yul is telling her so much that Shin will be in a temper after being embarrassed like that in public, and then when he takes her hand and asks her whether she will feel lonely and tells her to be cheerful, it's so clear he's falling for her. Poor guy, because I know his feelings are going to be doomed.

But, glee on the look on Shin's face when he sees CG talking with Yul in the garden. He looks so pained and jealous at that point...

And then in the next scene where CG is telling Yul that she must seek Shin out in order to check if he's still mad about the egg throwing incident. Aww. And poor Yul, again.

And then Shin is being all blasé about the egging and only talking to get about how he thought she would enjoy it for it's ridiculousness, and he's really smiling at this thought *glee*, and laughing at her for "playing with his cousin-in-law" (=Yul)..

And then she rushes over to him and hugs him from behind... GUH!!! And he slowly, slowly brings his hands over hers and removes her arms... But the expression on his face... *swoon*

And then he has to be cutting and nasty again, of course... He clearly doesn't know any other way of dealing with her.

But immediately afterwards he is telling his cronies off for their dismissive remarks. And Hyorin is there to see all this. *glee*

Hyorin is really annoying me, because she already refused him and only after she learned that he would go on with the arranged marriage and after it was accomplished, did she return to try her hand at him :P. I really don't like her, and I suspect her future actions will only make me hate her... And then that evil woman, Yul's mother, is only encouraging her....

And then she's trying to steal all attention at the party afterwards. But it doesn't work, because the dance between Lee Shin and Chaegyong, though reluctantly started, stole the whole show. She was so uncomfortable in it, but tried her best and ends up making her own steps *g*. And then at the end of the episode, very much in line with the Cinderella theme, he brings her her lost shoe... Major swooning, yet again....

And poor Yul is just simmering with jealousy during all of this. Even though he doesn't stand a chance, I can't help feeling sorry for him.
