Book cataloguing musings
I've now entered most of my books into my LibraryThing catalogue. There only some 60 to 80 books missing and a few (esp. comics) that I'll have to check out and enter manually. I expect the final tally will be somewhere between 1650 and 1700 books. And it doesn't even include all of my comics.
I still have all of my e-books to enter into the system, but they are a bit more problematic than the "normal" paper books. I have bought quite a few e-books through various vendors, and that includes all kinds of works from short stories to full length novels.
My problem now is what works will I enter into my LT catalogue. Will I enter only novel-length works (what is the word amount for a novel length work?) or will I enter novellas, novelettes and short stories as well. In a related matter, will I be too embarrassed to enter all of my Ellora's Cave titles into the system?
