Now that this is about to disappear off my friends page BACK feature,
I shall make the Comment I didn't want people to see at the time, really.
LJ:seolta died on my birthday, this year, in a vile and unexpected way.

Yeah, she was the best friend of LJ:verdandiweaves. Five years younger than
me, an ashtanga yogi who did everthing right in health terms, but was eaten
alive by lung cancer. Sometimes the universe is stupidly cruel... and
doctors do not expect that shoulder pain in a young, fit, slim, veggie
non-smoker is going to be rampant cancer there. ugh. Two months notice
that you are irretrievably terminal is harsh, no? She spent much of that time in a hospice unable to do the sort of fun things you'd want in that time, as well, before dying unconscious in a fug of sedatives and morphine.
I've spent too much of my life detained in hospital: in LJseolta's place
I'd have wanted my Thermos of morphine to go pro re nata: Dennis ( ... )
