Tonight's hockey match against Russia was really good and exciting. Our team moved well and didn't get provoked by stupid things. And we made it to the gold match! YAY!
The gold match is going to be incredibly exciting since we are going against our friendly neighbourhood enemy Sweden. Finland-Sweden matches always have their own special feel, and now that we are playing for Olympic gold... I wonder how I will be able to take the excitement (and how fresh I will be to work on Monday :)),
On sports-unrelated stuff, I saw
Frozen today at the Woman or Artichoke Festival. It was very slow moving and psychologically artistic. My translations would be too slow and too weird.
The performances were good, however, and imagine my surprise when I saw one of the secondary characters a couple of times and he looked very handsome and somehow too familiar, and then I realized that he was Mr. Thornton in North and South, i.e. Richard Armitage. There was too little of him in the film, but what there was, looked really good :).
My viewing of Water on Sunday is still completely open. It depends on how well Finland does on the gold game. These games have clarified to me that hockey is, to me, in the end, more important than the occasional rare film festival.
