I finished the Fire Clapotis last night and now I'll have something obscenely pink for my triumphant return to Toronto, the place where I bought the obscenely pink yarn in the first place.

It's knit in Schaefer Anne a wool, mohair and nylon blend that's both silky and fuzzy. As far as I can tell the colorway is called Wendy, and the yardage (560) was plenty to make a delicious oversized scarf / mini stole, which was just what I wanted.
I'm going to Toronto to take part in a
Knitty Yarn Roundtable Night. I'm also going to keep an eye out for fabric and other exciting things.
And since I managed to finished the Fire Clapotis well before the end of March, I'm tossing a not-so-Project-Spectrum-colorway of socks into the mix before we drift on over to the Earth element.

This was the February colorway for the Yarn Pirate Booty club. It's a merino tencel blend, which makes
a bang up pair of springy socks, if you remember rightly. I'm just trying to keep ahead of the curve...
