He is at the top of the world, the arrogance of youth prodding him forward and promising him invincibility. He steps into court, heart bursting with excitement that he could barely keep under control, and faces his opponent. They shake hands politely and he takes his place, ready to win.

(More than two, because the first few could describe, uh, anyone. It doesn't actually get better, but you know. With a bit more to go off on...)

Oh. RIGHT! XD But I fail. I just realized that you wrote 'shake hands politely.' And Echizen never shakes hands politely. NEVER. Do I get another chance to guess? Hahaha.

Yeah, I was trying to hint at it with the 'invincible' thing, but it apparently failed.

Tezuka: Invincibility.

Plus, I dwelled on 'Echizen: arrogance.' What? It's true.

I've actually noticed that I default to Tezuka. Unless I make a specific point of it to myself the moment I start writing, I start writing Tezuka. Well, if he's in the fic anyways. Even sometimes when he's not in the muse, say, if I'm trying to write Atobe/Jiroh, I end up writing Tezuka and then leading it over to him seeing them together or something. I was trying to write Fuji POV once, because the ONLY SCENE in the entire fic that I already knew, the only reason I was writing the damn thing, was in Fuji POV, and I write Tezuka. It's almost pathetic.

How come I don't have a writing default? But, you know, I guess some people would like to have Tezuka as a writing default seeing as people think he's a difficult character to write. Also, if anything, I'm worse off. I WRITE TEZUKA AND FUJI IN OTHER FANDOMS! T_T When I first wrote a Loveless fic, I kept on writing Fuji and Tezuka and I had to do it over. O.O Fics for other slash pairings are also kept short for that reason: they will convert themselves to tezufuji if I continued.

I suppose so. But he's not even really one of my favorites, except in relation to Fuji, so it's weird. I... don't do that, though, so I'll just be glad. Oh you poor thing. Maybe. xD
