Apparently, people with logical-mathematical intelligence (engineering and science people) write outlines very well but fail in paraphrasing. This is proven by the fact that though there were 2 groups of log-math intellects in English 1 class, both groups sucked. It wasn't our fault really. The essay was about how McClintock won a Nobel Prize for medicine/biology and it included the experiment that made her win. The teacher said that our paraphrases shouldn't be technical. But how could it not be technical? *flails* Then again, maybe that's just me. After all, over the last 4 months, I've been paraphrasing text about the basics of genetics, genetic disorders, biomolecules, bacteria and molecular biology techniques nearly EVERYDAY. I can't really blame my professor.
