....since new years besides work:
We (mum, dad, sister, bro in law, I) had the chance to fly to Israel for a week in May, which is organized by a friend of my father. We would have visited Jerusalem, Bethlehem, dead sea and Golan. And for all of 24 hours it looked like we would. Well we won't. And I'm not sure how I feel about it (the not going).
For me it would have been the chance of a life time. Okay that's to much weight on it. But I'm pretty sure Israel isn't a country I'm going to see ever. Jerusalem especially would have been great for me. It has so much history. And actually standing there in the city and seeing all those sights.... On the other hand with all the conflicts still going on we're staying on the safe side, which is a good thing also.
My aunt was on vacation there a couple of weeks ago without any problems. She's totally enthusiastic about it.
Now we're thinking about a substitute vacation or rather trying to find one that suits everyone!
I went to the movies with my nephew today. We watched "The golden compass". Cute demons, cute Mr. Craig, didn't like the rest, although I love fantasy movies. Positive side of this evening: I spent time with my nephew. He's turning 14 this year and he's finally reached this stage where you have to take notice that he's grown up some. Sometimes it/he just makes me smile. Especially when he goes little kid a couple of minutes later and cuddles close just like he always used to.
Also I saw the preview for the second part of the Narnia chronicles. Yeah!
Next week I'm home one vacation. Yeah a second time.
So that's it!
