my sleep is usually dreamless.
there's only 3 ways which i fall asleep
1) being in a state of KO when I plonk onto my bed and fall asleep almost instantly; which leaves no room for dreams. and before I know it, it's morning again.
2) not feeling extremely tired before I sleep, but sufficiently tired. i lay in bed deep in thoughts (but nothing too overwhelming) and then slowly drift to a good sleep. dreams sometimes occur, but rarely.
3) forcing myself to sleep when i'm still mentally awake. i roll about in bed, unable to find a comfortable spot, force myself not to think of my life issues but the more i try and do it the more i think about it. it takes me a long time to enter a deep slumber. and i call this sleeping for escapism.
I like number one most (it is quite sadistic because it requires me to be extremely shagged) but these days, it has been number three. I'm not physically active enough (more about it on my next post) to KO, as much as I like to. and number two just doesn't happen because my thoughts are more than overwhelming.
anyway, my point is. last night was a case of number 3, but amazingly, i managed to dream. and it was 2 DREAMS. quite unbelievable in my opinion. i can't remember the finer details but both dreams were distinctly different, both dreams involved you, and most importantly both dreams had happy endings. it was so perfect i really wished it were true. )=
i really wonder how i managed to survive those army days when i slept at 1030 and woke up at 0515 for a period of 5 months.
and not forgetting the pri-sec-jc days when i woke up at 0600 for school without fail.
i've been becoming less disciplined, my life is less structured than before..i don't think it's necessarily a bad thing... but i wonder if i like that change in my life.
life,
you
