sorry for the lack of updates.. been feeling really lazy nowadays. what i've been to for the past week or so:
- finished watching one tree hill season 1. =D
- go for the numerous rowing trainings
- went to eat at BASIN (most atas place in loughborough) coz the Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU) rep came down to have a chat with us. I ate gyu don for main, lemonade for drink (which was act. sprite with a slice of lemon LOL), chocolate choux cake for dessert (refer to pic), and a bit of siewmai, cheecheongfun with scallop, chicken teriyaki, har kow, soft shell crab tempura, pork thingy. think i ate like 20quid worth, lol.
- bought halloween stuff? WE ARE DRESSING UP AS WALLY!!
anyway, online shopping is so fun! i never really did any online shopping back in SG. but as of now, i've already bought..
- 3 books from amazon
- thermal tights
- compression tights
okay, not a lot lah, but still.. haha. i get so excited whenever i go to my hall reception to see whether i have any parcels! next up i shall wait for my bio notes. LOL. coz the notes which the lecturer provides is too vague already, cannot stand it man. i pity those who have no bio background!
just went to oxford today with the singsoc, went to this really cool place called GIRAFFE.
then we went to christ church college! WHERE HARRY POTTER WAS FILMED FYI. $@£$%@!!!. IT WAS SUCH A LETDOWN!! we went to the dining hall specifically. and it was sooooo small and it didnt feel the least bit magical )=
digital editing really creates wonders man. the staircase leading to the dining hall probably had a more magical effect on me knowing that im stepping on something which the HP cast laid foot on!! and the staircase looks the same as the movie (i.e no digital enhancement) HAHA.
then went to their covered market to see see. then went to their town centre to shop. bought a dorothy perkins jeans for £15! it was on sale and i only have 4 bottoms.. so yeah..thats about it, go facebook to see the photos.
anyway, there this 4th year student in singsoc called jeremy who taught me stuff about photography today!! he has been dabbling with photog for 12 years already and he only got his DSLR this yr jan. what really encouraged me was that he said i can shoot good pictures with any camera. you know.. its not the camera that matters but how you take it.. HOW NICE IS THAT!! i feel like im gonna set up a photoblog soon.. haha. and probably abandon this blog for good. afterall. im not a fan of blogging. okay, check out facebook soon for the photoblog website!! anyone has any recommendations as to which blog is good for photoblogs? like wordpress or whatever..
