I have heard that creativity is at its best when one focuses on something other than the task at hand. Why do you not think of something else? Then perhaps inspiration will strike you! :D

Well, for starters, the assignment was to do 5 oil paintings in the post-impressionist style of Vincent van Gogh and as for inspiration... hmm...

Well, the only thing I can think of is to tell you what I do when I'm at a loss for inspiration, which is to keep busy doing other things that I find interesting and try not to stress out about it too much... inspiration always comes from experiencing something interesting...

So, what do you find interesting? Except Hana and blowing things up?
