New Year's Eve.
I'm going to be incredible cliched for a minute...bear with me. :)
I can't believe 2006 is already over. I can't believe I'm already almost halfway through my sophomore year...I still feel like I should be a Freshman. :)
I'm so grateful for everything that happened in 2006...the good and the bad. I have changed so much this past year...hopefully for the better. Generally, I like where I am right now in life. I'm looking to make a couple of changes, but I'm good with things for the most part.
I am determined that 2007 will be a wonderful year. I'll have ups and downs (I always do...it's me. :) ). But I'll be happy, and even if I don't figure my life out or decide where I'm going to be after college, I'm going to have an amazing time just living my life. That is my official New Year's Resolution. So, bring it on, 2007. I'm ready. :)
I leave tonight to go back to Colby. I'll get back on campus tomorrow night, which is something I have mixed feelings about, just like after every extended period at home. I still feel torn between two very different worlds, and I feel so guilty that there are times I would rather live in my school world than my home world. That's another thing I'll have to work on dealing with.
