Shows, activities, poking things with sticks ...
The site is getting filled in, slowly. Soon it may look pretty but until then imagine it's a statement on minimalism. It could be. The Tate might pay millions.
Some lovely souls have either volunteered - or stepped within arms reach and been told they volunteered - for bits and bobs. We're not close to a Con Com yet, but we're not listening to the crickets chirping and admiring the tumbleweed either. Yay! Again, if you want to Con Com, or just help out, check out Jobs@Vidukon.
And now to the actual reason for posting: I figured around now might be a plan to see what sort of things people actually want from the Con. Radical, I know. There goes the Dictator of the Year award.
So far I have Vid Shows (con and attendee run), Panels and Workshops. If anyone can think of other things that would bring happiness, this would be fantabulous. Do we want disco and karaoke, or do we want to be terribly British and investigate a vidder's High Tea, for instance?
Also, for the Con Vid shows, I just have "Premieres". Do we want anything else as a staple? Challenges and things?
I know a lot of people are on the busy side with summer and such so I'm not going to be posting again for a while, most likely. I'm just putting the question out there for thinking purposes.
