...okay, that covers That School Up North clonking Florida and making it instead.

No, I didn't like that round. I didn't see the Syracuse/Marquette game; it was a good score in football, I hear. Basketball maybe not so much.

That just leaves Louisville/Duke, which I watched while eating. I recommend not watching a replay of a person suffering a compound fracture while eating ever.

So, with the games out of the way, and my bracket hosed because everybody had Louisville winning even if that's all I got left, let's get to the conference records:

B1G: 1-1 this round, 13-6 overall, represented by M*ch*g*n GODDAMNIT TO HELL
Big East: 2-1 this round, 11-6 overall, represented by Syracuse and Louisville. Louisville was indeed powerful enough to overcome their bracket, and, well, someone had to lose (or win) the Big East matchup.
ACC: 0-1 this round, 6-4 overall and done.
SEC: 0-1 this round, 4-3 overall and done. The top of the SEC was...tolerable, made the tournament, and didn't completely suck. Kentucky was not this, obviously.
The State of Florida: 0-1 this round, 7-3 overall and done - a better showing than the State of Ohio last year.
Florida Gulf Coast University (all-time): 2-1, and that's why their coach is now headed for the PAC-12's USC. Because, seriously, a winning record in the Big Dance and all.
Missouri Valley Conference: 1-0 this round, 5-1 overall, represented by Wichita State. Allow me a brief cry THAT COULD HAVE BEEN OSU ;_; ...okay. Tough #9 seed from a decent conference that thrives below the Mid-Majority's Red Line. (I'm going to miss that site after next year.)

So, that just leaves the draft to discuss, and...uh, I had Louisville and Wichita State there. OSU got picked first by someone else, and for that the person has one team left and is still mathematically eliminated. If Syracuse wins out I lose; otherwise, I win. Huh. At this point, I'm rooting for Wichita State to take it all, because burn everything and they are not M*ch*g*n.

Good games on tomorrow; I'll be getting a mattress and talking about Escaflowne for a blog; I'll link the interview when it's up. One more post probably coming shortly besides basketball tourney posts, because a man I followed on Twitter died. For now, we look forward to the tourney.
