Squirrels
The Squirrels diner which had been open since the end of the 1970's closed in 2013. An expensive juice shop now occupies its space and the boy who I used to dine with there every Saturday, ordering the same triangles of golden sourdough toast tucked into the same side of the booth, is dead and buried.
