There are times when I tell him that all I need is him to be happy. And he always replies with "That's all I ever wanted". Those words every time. Said like he's been waiting for me his whole strange life, or as if the day we were introduced he wanted to lay out our wonderful future together in a fast and true agreement on the sidewalk in the East Village.
