Oh my god....this tottaly kicks ass....
I have just added lyrics to over 300 songs and all I had to do was push a button.... O_O!
This application kicks huge amounts of ass. It is the ass anialator, destructor de mucho ass....you get the point. It's called pearLyrics.
It gets good results, of course the more popular the song the quicker it finds them and the rarer the song, the harder it has to work to get them. I've checked alot of songs that I know the lyrics for and they all seem to be correct. Of course, it's the ones you have no clue what the hell they're saying that are the real test. All the same, Any lyrics that at least sound like they are right are fine...If they are totally off base, I'll fix them.
This is basically the exact kind of thing that I have been looking for....forever. All that talk of doing this crap by hand.....yeah, not!
I should have all 4000+ tracks tagged in a couple of hours tops. :-D I made a playlist that excludes podcast and stuff that it's likely not to find lyrics for so it doesn't waste time trying to find them. I'm gonna leave it alone for a while and let it do it's thing, it's already on 327 of 4021 so it shouldn't be long. Set it and forget it!
