Update, update, time for an update!
The summer is coming to a close. Katie is going back to school in Lincoln, which makes me sad. We didn't hang out nearly as much as I wanted to this summer. Our schedules simply didn't mesh. She was always working when I was off. Boo.
Today I had another dentist appointment. I had one about 4 months ago and was told I had 5 cavities, 4 of which were invisible to the naked eye. They could only be detected with a fancy new cavity-detecting device called to diagnodent. Having gone my whole life without a single cavity to having 5, I was a little upset about the news, and the more I thought about it, it just didn't add up. After a lot of thought, I decided to cancel both my appointments for fillings and get a second opinion. Today I went to the same dentist my mom has been going to for years and walked out with a clean bill of dental-health. Not a single cavity. Nothing on the x-ray, no suspicious crevices. How weird is that?
That's about all I've got. My life has been pretty uneventful, which isn't a bad thing. My job is going well, Kevin and I are doing well. Overall, life is good!!
