I GOT A NEW CAR!!
Well... Not new new. New used. It's a 1994 Saturn SC2 with 117,000 miles. Yeah, it has a lot of miles, but I only paid 3750$ for it (before taxes and financing fees). I'm most proud because the dealership financed me without going through a bank so I didn't need a cosigner. The car is in MY name only. I put 1542$ down and make 56$ payments every week for one year.
I love this car. It's sooo cute. The color is questionable in a teal green, but it still looks nice. It has power locks, windows, sunroof, black leather seats and a 5 speed manual transmission. Before selling it, the dealership put new tires, brakes, radiator and a clutch into it. And, I'm a sucker for the flip up headlights!!! :)
It does need a serpentine belt, rear struts, and the engine cooling fan doesn't turn on when it's supposed to which causes the engine to warm up hotter than it should. The fan needs to be fixed immediately and Dustin and I are going to replace the serpentine belt on Sunday. It's real easy to do. Also, the front suspension is a little noisy, and I'm gonna take it to a mechanic/friend to check that out.
Otherwise, it runs like a dream. I'm very happy. I just need it to last me a couple of years. That ALL I ask. I am quite optimistic.
