(no subject)
First day of work, more or less. Yesterday I did 'training', which was basically showing me around then making me do work. Today I was 5 minutes late to work and the first person there. I'm relatively happy that it's pretty lax, considering things felt kind of uptight sometimes at the wildlife center during the summer. They definitely take good care of the animals and the staff is knowledgable though, so being a little laid back about hours seems ok. I don't know how many hours I'm going to end up working there, but any kind of income is good for me right now. I'm glad my parents are there if I need them financially, but I'm really getting the itch for complete self-sufficiency (yes, finally). I definitely want to go to school again soon, but it's almost tempting to think of working and having a place of my own. That can wait though.
I hung out with my roomie for the first time in a while the other day. We watched Numbers together, which isn't that exciting of an activity, but it was nice. I feel like the minor early winter drama has pretty much dissapated, but we almost never see eachother. Granted I spend a lot of time with the gf, but he almost never comes out even when it's just the two of us. I really do wish we spent more time hanging out, even if it was just to watch tv/movies. Not only because I feel like I should be friends with my housemate, but also because he's generally a decent guy and can be pretty amusing. It's fun to be horrible and sarcastic together when no one else is listening.
On another front, I'm not sure if it's kind of funny or just ironic and a little sad that my gf sees my exgf/former closest friend much more than I do, now that they occasionally pass eachother on the way to and from classes when Sarah's at Smith. Oh well, I guess sometimes the best things can fall apart.
To end on a happier note, I want another bunny! A bigger, fluffier bunners to be Bella's, Sarah's, and my new friend! He will be sandy colored and his name might be Bucky Ball. I just don't know.
Also, Sarah's unders are cute today, rugby stripe!
