(no subject)
i just took my room down. yes, down. i'm one of those people that has stuff everywhere. hanging from the ceilings, the walls, above doorways, in door frames. if it can hang something, i'll find something to go there. i'm not taking down any fabric until the night before i move. it's sad looking at the state of my room as it is, the fabric will leave a little bit of comfort for the next two days.
i got that job at the bowling alley, haha. i'm pretty stoked. i hope i get to play for free and get a really awesome uniform with awesome bowling shoes. i have to go tomorrow and fill out paperwork and what not. hopefully i can start next week/weekend. the only thing that kind of stinks is that there are SO many good shows coming up. and as always, they're usually on saturday/sunday.
9/7 - ryan adams in boston.
9/13 - that rockabilly fest at the bowling alley.. but steve earle is playing at edgerton and i would LOVE to see him. oh well.
9/17 - built to spill in new haven.
9/19 - bouncing souls, sick of it all in nyc.
9/24 - willie nelson at mohegan.
10/4 - lucinda willaims in new haven.
10/12 - ben nichols in hamden.
10/13 - nofx, dillinger four in providence OR OR OR vivian girls and fucked up in danbury.
10/17 - 36 crazyfists in new haven.
10/20 and 10/21 billy bragg in boston (we've already got tickets for these two!)
10/24 - minus the bear in providence.
11/16 - iron and wine in providence.
and thats all i have on my calendar for now. so excited.
