This is so amazing! Thank you both (all three, I guess, including Xandra) for all the work you put into it. There's so much to absorb I know I'll be rereading this a lot.
(Do you want unsolicited advice about CS3 and Avisynth? I will not harass you if you'd rather research on your own.)
I did doubt if anybody would reach the end of this, while writing it - It just gained more and more words. So the last week before the deadline was dedicated to not let it expand further and cutting it down again.
And yes, I would love some advice - not sure, when I will work it into a vid, but yes. Pretty please.
Whoops, another thing, from reading the comments on Gianduja Kiss's entry: More sequences open at the same time caused more crashing. I ended up using folders full of scrap clips instead of scrap sequences until I upgraded.
No problem. Yeah, I figured that I will need to upgrade my software sooner rather than later. I have win7 and knowing that I don't use my 64-bit to its full potential was bugging me from the start. The crashes are annoying, but what drives me up the wall is this:
Huh. I never had that problem. I don't remember which memory maximizer I used -- I just grabbed one from download.com that had a lot of positive user ratings.
And yes, I've been using CS5 with avisynth for a couple of weeks. With the 64-bit version, it's fine.
