Also, owing to my frustrating fuck-up (can I not read directions?!) on the last Greek quiz I'm rather depressed about it and thus am craving alcohol. So I am going to institute a drink-of-the-week rule, which I'm certain will help me get through the ups and downs of life here at Haavid (as the locals know it). ;) I shall start out with an oldie but a goodie:
The Classic Margarito (no, that is not a typo, this is a masculine drink!)
(since very few people have heard of this one, I shall supply a recipe in case anyone wants to join in my alcoholic fun from 3,000 miles away)
Take your favorite blended margarita recipe, or follow mine
1/2 small can limeade
equal amount of tequila
1/3 or 1/2 of that amount of triple sec
ice!
Add all ingredients to the blender
Add a can of beer (a Mexican beer, preferably Tecate of course)
Blend
Enjoy! As I am...
As gross as it may sound, this is a great drink, and the family drink of choice at my humble abode these days. The beer cuts the sweetness of the margarita. Don't you dare f*** up my drink by making it flavored. If you want something sweet go make yourself a daiquiri. Oops, that sounded rather aggressive.
