thanks to:
all the people who came and protested, the nice lady for the water, the hippie who has been protesting for 30 years, the mothers who were fired up, the youth that cares, the guy with the megaphone yelling facts, the lady whose boyfriend died in the war, the guy starting chants, the reporters who listened to us, all of those who united, acknowledged their rights and realized passivity is dangerous
NO thanks to:
the slews of extreme ageists, the people yelling "fagot lovers" and other homophobic remarks, the people yelling "baby killers" (and when i said abortion was legal under bush, could say no more), the people regurgitating commercials, the people making fun of our appearance, the RACISTS, those who didn't care about the poor, those who had the "bomb them all!" mentality and don't care about civilians, those who can't distinguish between iraq and afghanistan, the people who were dumbfounded when i asked them to justify their statements, the people derogatorily yelling "what are you, public teachers?", the people who called us american haters and communists (or maybe thank you), the narrow-minded nationalists, the people who criticized kerry's war record, the people who yelled childish slander (wait...thank you for making an idiot out of yourself), the people who yelled "go home" (noelle replied, "i am home. america is my home"), the people yelling things that made absolutely no sense (i.e. "go drink some koolaid!")
the republicans didn't let reva, jocine and another woman in. all had tickets. they denied them enterance because they were standing with the protesters. said they didn't look "happy enough"
