NYU is fucked up. I am apparently not going to be allowed to register for next semester until I file the appropriate paperwork to show that I have a measles/mumps/rubella vaccination. This will probably be hard, since I am obviously the poster girl for all three diseases - especially rubella. It doesn't really matter, because registration doesn't start until November 14th anyway, but I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that there was a big red STOP on my record.

In better news, my Sociology TA and I understand each other. At least we must, since I've gotten the equivalent of an A+ on the last 5/7 assignments. It makes me feel more comfortable about the midterm, since he'll be grading it. I'll just expound and discourse a lot, he'll love it. And I'll love him, because I'm in love with him.

Also, do you think there will be riots in Chicago? I know they're a big fan of riots, but I guess... well... White Sox...? They're sort of like the Mets. I see Cubs/Yankees fans everywhere, and sometimes forget that the White Sox and Mets even play in their respective cities. Still, it's nice to see some Midwestern representation. I'm just saying that to make up for how boring I think this baseball season has been.

Luckily I saw Lisa and Magali yesterday, which was the one beacon of light in an otherwise amazingly boring weekend. Oh, other than that AMAZINGLY SCARY WOMAN on the subway home from my dad's tonight. She was drooling and stumbling around, and tried taking coffee from two guys before hitting them for not giving her money. It reminded me of why I hate taking the subway alone at night.

At least there's no rain anymore!
