Maybe...

So I've been deciding on what to take to Argentina, as far as cameras are concerned. I think I'm going to take my 28-70mm and 50mm lenses and a camera body. I'm certainly not taking the EOS 1n + booster ... but then again, I'm not sure I want to bring the 1n. It's big, heavy and LOUD. Sure, it could withstand the harshest environment possible, but I'm not going to be in such an environment. So I'm thinking of buying a second body to use for the trip, and then selling it on eBay when i return (I'll probably break even or maybe lose a few bucks on shipping charges). Here's what I want:

The EOS 5

This camera was introduced in 1992 as Canon's response to the Nikon N90, and its popularity kept it in production until 2001. It has eye controlled focusing and it is possibly one of the quietest cameras ever made, thanks to its coreless motor and belt-driven film advance. I've heard it's a great camera for PJ shooting, which is what i want to do in Buenos Aires. Plus, it has a built-in flash for quick fill-flash portraits. And, it can shoot up to 5fps, even though I won't be doing much rapid-fire shooting in Buenos Aires. But it's nice to have all those things in one convenient package.

Who knows; maybe I'll hang on to it for awhile!
