oscars
Well I had to wait up till 1 a.m. for the oscars to start. only to find out I can't watch them. They are only shown on a premium channel we don't have. (we have sky but not sky premium). It seems silly really but I'm quite disappointed. this is the second year in a row I'll miss it. The Oscars are like my superbowl. For a movie to not win an oscar says nothing about how good it is, but I have seen very few winners that I didn't like. Almost all performances that win are superb (even if it can be argued someone else that year deserved it more). I watched the oscars 10 years straight. I was really looking forward to Jon hosting again as well.
Oh well. Such is life. I suppose I should be happy. I have a great apartment.
I'm healthy. I have a loving wife, who tolerates my oddities and my bad sentence structure. I should be happy, but instead I feel depressed and stupid. I spent all day at work (not literally) talking about how I was going to stay up to watch them despite it meaning only a single hours sleep before working an eight hour shift (after working a ten hour one today). Instead of that I shed a tear once I realized I couldn't watch them. maybe it's because failing to watch them only reminds me of how I can't get an audition for anything much less get a part.
Well at least I have a big penis.
