Reading Homestuck fic. Premise is post-Scratch, trolls and humans have switched species and planets for one last all-together game of SBurb/Grub. But they keep their memories.
This means Karkat and John can properly commence a mixed human romance/kismesis.
Also, human!Karkat pays a visit to Santa Cruz and eats ice cream at Marianne's. Which was literally two blocks from my house.
It's set in 2009. While I was there.
I get sort of irrationally excited at any fleeting mention of my adopted hometown, really.
