K…

There are a few things I should tell ya about first. Now, this is from a personal file. I kinda liked this idea an’ ran with it. Was too anxious t’ post it anywhere. Curiousity killed th’ cat, or so say they, right? Yeah…right…

Kinda curious what someone might think ‘bout all o’ this. This…is really th’ only complete one o’ my private series I ( Read more... )

Heya, we haven't spoken but I've enjoyed your writing in the Transformers fandom and thought this would be a good time to let you know about it! My favourites so far are Optics Welded Shut and more recently Notches-I've always felt Prowl and Jazz suit each other not as a result of happy coincidence but rather dark consequence. Not to say I dislike your more light-hearted work, since The Many Tapes of Red Alert was a delight to read! Probably the reason why I anticipate your next fic is you never compromise reality and emotion.

I'm sorry to know you've been feeling down. Good luck in case you still need it! I've actually been lurking for at least a year since I tend to be shy and separate my virtual life from my physical one. This also means I've enjoyed the bits of fiction you've posted exclusively to your journal without telling you so, for which I apologise. Now that you've posted more, let me say it has been as engaging a read as ever. I'm not keen on the idea of bonds but kudos to you for using it with none of the idealistic sappiness! Also, 'dead slag walking' is my phrase of the week!

I wonder if you've heard Steamy Windows by Tina Turner because that's the song which came to mind when I read the drabble. It was sizzling enough with the bot-on-handcuffed-bot action but Prowl's declaration of teasing being enjoyable added C-4 to the hot plate. I guess I like 'porn with plot', as my friend might say! I'm impressed you wrote it in a single night since I write around the bush and always retype and re-retype. I have my own 'secret stash', too, and like you I hesitate to make it public. A lot of it needs polishing but I vulture-stare even when I can't find anything to tweak.

…Did I tell you I write around the bush? Because I do! Looking forward to more of your writing and wishing you a pleasant Tuesday!

Never heard Steamy Windows...but I looked it up after ya mentioned it. An' now that ya mention it, heh, it does sound like a good backdrop!

I know all about the re-typing. That's why I haven't finished "Optics Welded Shut" yet. I'm just not happy enough with th' way the next chapter is turnin' out on me. An' I'm not postin' it till I'm happy with it. Typically if I get somethin' done in a single night, it means that I was really inspired...not t' mention th' night bein' way too long for it's own good... With "The Many Tapes of Red Alert", I was inspired 'cause I was pretty much left for dead watchin' th' monitors on my security job. Had t'do somethin' to prevent imminent brain collapse.

I'm thinkin' about chapterin' out some of the "least worst of" in my personal files. The stuff I'm not too embarrassed about showin' to the public. As ya probably know an' are well versed in, personal files never seem t' have an endin'. That's the only problem - maybe - with 'em.

I'll take all the luck ya can grant me an' run with it!
