Title: summer nights
Pairing: Jade/Tori
Summary: Sitting on a beach towel by the ocean is her dream of a perfect date.
Notes: Originally this was going to be about flowers and ice cream… but this happened.
This is also the first time I’ve tried writing Jori so tell me if I did something wrong. Also, I’m not always good at writing fluff (unless it is Sam/Freddie from iCarly or Cat/Andre).
This was also written for the contest. I forgot to mention that.

Jade lies down on a beach towel in the sand. The bright summer sun burns down on her skin. She slowly sits up and sees Cat and Tori playing in the ocean water together. Cat giggles as Tori splashes her with water. Jade rolls her eyes. She lies back down and puts her sunglasses over her eyes and slowly starts to fall asleep.
Suddenly, she feels cold water on her skin. She sits up in anger and glares at Cat and Tori who are laughing. They high-five and continue laughing. “It’s not funny,” Jade growls as she throws sand at the girls.
“But it is,” Cat says giggling.
Tori smiles down at Jade. She sits down next to the angry girl and wraps her arm around her shoulders. “Aww, it’s okay baby,” Tori says with a smile on her face. Jade rolls her eyes. “Just go back to playing in the water and leave me alone while I tan.”
“Want me to tan-“
“Privacy.”

Tori sits next to Jade, her head resting on Jade’s shoulder. “Isn’t it so beautiful?” she asks while sighing.
Jade looks down at her and smiles. “Yeah, it is,” she tells her.
Tori smiles and wraps an arm around Jade’s waist getting as close as possible. “I love the beach,” she tells Jade. “It’s so beautiful and fun. I love the water and the sand and the sun and everything about it.” Jade continues smiling and rests her head on top of Tori’s.
Tori leans away from Jade and looks over the horizon. “Look, the sun is about to set,” she whispers. She looks over at Jade. Tori leans over to kiss Jade just as the sun disappears from the horizon.
