rock 'em, sock 'em
He disappointed me on the first night. So I told myself, "he must have been nervous." Being nervous and hence not being able to perform happens all the time, so I forget and forgive. Then on the second night, he did it again. I gave him a smile and tried to cheer him on, but we both know that it's another night of failure and major disappointment. Instead of calling it quit, I gave him another chance to prove himself. Third time is always the charm, right? NOT! I thought by giving him several 15 minutes break in between would do him some good but I was wrong. "Dammit Joe, you have a stick, use it! If you don't know how, then I'll show you how, goddammit!" I know I must have sound like the biggest S.O.N.O.V.A.B.I.T.C.H, but I'm not the one who's getting paid the big bucks and can't perform. So after the third night, I gave up.
Although Joe isn't my sister's favorite guy, she was the one who said I should go see him and maybe things will look brighter. She's such an optimist, ... so cute.. yet so young and so naive. She bought 2 tickets for our little date:
Tuesday, April 15, 7 pm, Fleet Center- Playoff Game # 4, Bruins vs Devils.
Aawww yea! What's more entertaining than watching guys on the ice playing with each other with their sticks, while chugging down a beer with one hand and a weiner on another. The game was indeed very memorable and very exciting. A lot of hostility from both teams, which is the only reason why I watch hockey. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a violent person and I don't promote violence, but there's something sexy about two grown men on skates slapping each other silly and stripping each other's uniform off. GGGRRRRRRRRRRR. Oh the joy.
Finally, Joe [Thorton] redeemed himself and got his first playoff goal last night. YAY! Joe knows best. It's a shame they haven't been playing as well as they did last nite. This is such a tease for us Bruins fans. It could be a little too late for them to try this hard, but I am hopeful that they will kick the Devils' ass in Game 5 so I can see them again in Boston for Game 6!
