The Penulimate Hours!

How oddly fitting that my last entry was entitled "The End is Nigh", as apparently, that's the case today!  Everyone, everywhere, has heard talk of the "Rapture".  Whatever the hell it really is, anyway.  My understanding is that all the Christians are going to die and head off to meet Jesus.  While the rest of us are stuck here to suffer on Earth.  Excuse what is going to be a terrible comment, buuuuut, here it comes!

So, that means that some of the most judgmental, biased, hypocritical people I know are suddenly going to vanish?  Crazies like my old manager are going to go "poof!"  If that's the case, then okay.  I'm actually pretty okay with that.  Yes, there are some people I'm going to miss like crazy, but I imagine we'll deal.  And now, I'm done with the depressing and mean spiritedness!

Moving on.  I'm spending this day of rapture watching a Glee marathon, belting along with some excellent songs.  Quite off-key, I assure you.  I can rarely sing along with someone and sound good.  I get majorly pitchy, and it all goes to hell.  If it's a karaoke track, and I'm just singing with music, then I'm typically okay.

There are hesitant plans later, after a deliciously healthy dinner of Sea Scallops in a lemon grass sauce!  I'm very excited, since I rarely get to actually cook anymore.  It'll be followed by a chocolate tofu mousse.  Skawee!  After this cooking extravaganza, I have plans to watch Princess Mononoke with Josh at his house.  He's a sweetheart, and is determined to make me watch all the Gibli anime films.  It's going to take awhile.  >.<  He provides me with delicious tea though, so it's doable.  He's one of my quirky steampunk friends, so I kinda love hanging out with him.  NOVA is full of amazingly awesome people!  None of them go to GMU, but hey, I'm not picky.  When I'm not being a complete introvert, I do have friends to hang out with.  It makes me happy.

Soo, short update today!  Not much is going on, but I felt like scribbling something small.  Enjoy the day, tartlets!

Much love,

Pyrate
