HOLY SHIT OH MY GOD
So, I got a new job. After whining and complaining forever I finally found a new job. CRAZY! I'm freaking out. FREAKING THE FUCK OUT. You have no idea. Remember that one guy from the Shawshank Redemption? He was in prison for like forever, and then they let him about and he didn't know what to do with himself? I hope that's not me. That's kind of an extreme example of how I feel right now. But it's weird to say goodbye to people you've been working with for 6 years. 6 YEARS! I'm freaking out.
When I told my boss I just started crying. Like, I went in there with my letter of resignation and my speech prepared, and she looked at me, and tears just started streaming out of my eyes and I couldn't speak words. I was verbally handicapped for like 20 seconds. It was ridiculous and embarrassing, but my boss was SO nice about it. I'm so thankful. Ugh. This has been a crazy crazy day.
BUT two side job opportunities have come out of this. Nice. I'll write more letter. I need some chocolate and some booze ASAP.
Oh! I should write about my new job first. It's a dot com business called HouseHunt, Inc. Their clients are real estate agents who are looking to represent communities. So I would design the sites for these communities. And redesign the main site. There are 3,000 websites. I don't even know how to count that high. Just kidding.
