Memes

I was given the questions and icons to reply to by euphoria1287 who also did these memes.

1. Reply to this post, and I will pick five of your icons.
2. Make a post (including the meme info) and talk about the icons I chose.
3. Other people can then comment to you and make their own posts.
4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon glee

Ok this collectively sums me up pretty well, a large portion of me at least. I love the wall paper and the red material type thing... its very vintage and I have a fascination with a lot of old artifacts. I like old/vintage looking new things too. The fairly old looking radio also reflects this along with my love for old music, such as classic rock, folk blues and all that. It also reflects the sixties peace, love, music scene/culture which I love.

I made this. This also reflects the whole peace/love thing with its peaceful imagery and scenery. I also have an appreciation for nature and for scenery of course.

Well... again.. this reflects the sixties free/rock/love scene. It also reminds me of the folk scene, you know. Also of the bohemian frame of mind and lifestyle. Also in a non-music sense.. it reminds me of freedom, and just running barefoot in grass, y'know.

Ahh. Well I like or at least respect aspects of many types of animals. Fluffy ones such as this one are an obvious thing to smile about I think. I also love this icon.. even though I made it lol. I like the colouring and I I captured the blue tint in this particular breed of dog.

Jim Morrison! What can I say. This icon has a subtle tone to it which explains the subtle colouring I used. His smile was a rarity and it was also to die for! I just melt at the concept of this pure hunk of man and symbol of masculinity and then he smiles like a sweet little thing. I just love that he shows two sides of him at times. LOVE him.

Questions

1) Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me!" if you wish to take part.
2) I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3) You will post the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves) on your blog or journal.
4) You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5) When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. And thus the endless cycle of the meme goes on and on and on and on...

1.) If you could go one place, any place, right this moment, where would it be and with whom?
Hmm well I dunno. I might cheat a bit on this. I might find a time machine (yeah right)  and go back to the sixties and hang with Jim and Janis and the likes. Dont really think theres a particular thing I'd like to do so much right at this moment. Except to go to a secret Fiona gig right now (yeah right) with you Nicole.. that would be great!

2.) What do you believe is the biggest hurdle you've had to overcome in your life and why?
Hmmm... probably bullying, growing up without a mom (with insensitive men) and the ways in which that might have effected me emotionally... If its one thing I'd say its that and trying to fight through and cope with my mental illnesses these days.

3.) Where do you see yourself five years from now?
A famous singer! I'd love that... or another form of an artist.. like a poet or a writer.

4.) If you were having ice cream but could only pick between chocolate and vanilla, which would you pick and why?
I would probably pick vanilla... its quite universal and usually always soo good... and the taste is quite nice and subtle. It goes so well with a lot of things too soo I could add tons to it maybe.

5.) What is the most important value you look for in those close to you?
Hmmm... sincerety, honesty and truth maybe. Just truth I guess. A  person that tries hard because they feel they have to model themselves around something, or live up to something silly can really piss me off.
