Camp Chaos: Gaia summer event, 2009
I've been participating in Gaia's summer event (first major event for me!) and it's been pretty fun. It's kind of funny how proud I feel after accomplishing something as simple as a "battle" between users and NPCs. But I really do feel proud! I'm already done with the event, as far as I know. o_O It only took two days or so.
I was able to get to level 8 within a matter of hours yesterday, and then I completed the rest of the battles (which consisted of me fighting the four groups of camp counselors) today. I like the whole camp loyalty thing for this event, and I love the fact that every user gets put into different groups.
I joined the Rich Camp because it's associated with Barton Town, which is then associated with angel imps. <3 After a little glitch from Gaia within the first few hours the event was put up, I was moved from the Diamond Suite to the Penthouse Suite. (Boo.) And since I reached level 8, my title is now Gatsbyesque Dandy.
Also to note: I've added the little Kitten Star mood bubble to my avi. *sigh* I really want the Kitten Star item itself but it's so hard to get. (-__-) Right now, it's selling for 8 million or more gold, which is an impossibility for me. I'm hoping the price will eventually deflate but that's up in the air right now since there are so few of the KS items out there. Grr! My gold stash doesn't even come close to that much.
