(no subject)
So I get all dolled up for the dance on Saturday night, take out a blanket and sit at the back of the crowd by the soldiers during the first half of the show. At the break, I decide to walk around for a bit and on my way back to the main hangar am approached by this cute early 20's-ish AVG and invited to join him and his buddies. Now, unfortunetly, he wasn't single, but I did spend the rest of the night with the guys, and was quite amused by the fact that the guy who invited me over, Ian, spent the entire time thinking I was 27. hehe....you gotta love being mature for your age. he got chewed out by one of the older guys for "not asking the lady if she wants a drink", which I did eventually accept for camraderie's sake, but it was a good time. And the dance didn't get rave reviews anyways, so I don't think I missed out on much really.
other than that, I'm red, and itchy.......sunburn anyone? argh. not to mention the fact that i slept almost 15 hours last night. much sweetness.
