(no subject)
so i'm sitting here at the compy in my robe. which is quite comfortable, btw. after a very icky day, i decided to skip down to the gym and busy myself with a mile. and then some weights. hehe the goal is to NOT get the lecture from granny about my lack of marriagability (is that even a word??) when i see her this summer. now i know that's really sad and all, but c'est la vie. moving on, after that exhilirating experience, wherein i also set forth the goal of doing an earhart mile by the end of the summer (something amounting to 7 minutes or so, idk), i waxed my legs. okay, so we all think that waxing is painful, it really isn't. just a bitch cause you get wax all over your hands and legs and it's icky. not to mention it's awful to get off. but now i have silky smooth legs. booyah.
on another front (or back, whichever you'd rather), i went with bridget to edison's little india yesterday. it was fun. actually, it was more than fun. it was wonderful!!!!!!!!:-D without meaning to, we both picked up our dresses for senior ball. mine's a bright red sari with absolutely incredible beadwork on it. we think it makes me look breathstoppingly gorgeous (we meaning bridget and i). i love bridget's gown though, it's a two piece in seafoam green hand-embroidered all over the top with little pearls. it really brings out the gold in her hair and the warmer colors in her skin. beautiful dahling, quite smashingly grand. so yes, now i have a dress and no date. argh. i'm hoping to find one in dc on one of my next trips......there's changes brewing and the wind's switching directions........................
