Name the fics that you've written this year, a little bit about them, and what inspired you to write them or why you wrote it. Provide a link if you wish.
You know I have the fic masterlist, so I'm taking the links from there and just adding some of the whys here :)
Requests - Gen (Elizabeth) angst, humour
This is a recent one... I wanted to show how tough her job can be, but that she likes the position because it brings fun stuff as well. And, of course, the fact that she works with children. Notice the lack of Carson whump.
Recall - Slash (Carson/John, past Carson/Rodney) Angst, h/c
This one was in my head for a long time, in one form or another. It started with Xanthe's Back from the Well and the question 'How far would Carson go and how much would he take in a relationship for the sake of the other?' This fic doesn't answer that, but ti got me thinking about the things they'd do and how they'd cope and... well...
To Oz - Het (Elizabeth/Rodney) Humour
This was written for the Liz ficathon and it was great fun for me, trying to see each one of the Atlantis guys as a character from 'The Wizard of Oz'
The Fourier Series - Gen (Rodney)
This is a collection of random Rodney-centered short fics, most of them an exploration of a side of life in Atlantis. That's what I meant, anyway :)
Revisiting - Gen (Carson centric) (WIP)
Started this in march, finished writing it but didn't post the other parts... I like it, but it's something that doesn't fit in with it.
Outside - Slash (Carson/Rodney) h/c, angst
This fic has a strange history. It was written for the icaw ficathon. A while after writing it I realised that what I meant to write as protectiveness from Carson might be seen as jealousy and that is not what I intended. I might go back to this one and change it a bit.
Demons - Gen (Carson centric)
This one was inspired by a scene in one of 's fics and me wondering what would happen if an accident would cause Carson to be unfit for duty. Then I made it be partly Rodney's fault and it happening in the chair :)
The Southern Front - Gen (Carson, Rodney) AU
I really liked this story. I was very happy with the atmosphere and the general feel of it, I managed to get my ideas transposed. I also realised with this one that I really like writing AUs and history-related fics.
Higher Purpose - Gen (Carson, Rodney, Lorne, OC)
This one was written for a challenge. I wanted to show how Carson's gene isn't just about loose drones and Carson's fear.
Best Laid Plan | Drawing the map (sequel) - Gen (Carson, Rodney)
One of the many fics I have to finish. I started this wanting to show Rodney being worried, caring (in a non-slashy way) when Carson's injured. I'll probably tackle the siblings issue in the following parts.

Beginning - Gen (Teyla, Sora)
These two were written for the fanfic100 challenge, where I had Teyla. I had a lot of ideas for these, but my Carson fics always took precedence, so I quit the 100 fics challenge.
Looking After Carson - Gen (Rodney)
This was written for lorellipsis, who had said something about me becoming a slasher. At the time, I was sure it was never going to happen. Riiight.
Beneath The Surface - Gen (S2 team, Carson)
This is one of the first fics I wrote (the second, I think) and it focuses on Rodney. It has a maze, a few traps and a few heroic acts coming from some not so hero-type guys :)

Another fic about Carson's gene and the good things that might come out of it, and how few things are good all the way in Pegasus.

These were written for the Exploration of a relationship through the senses challenge, and I really enjoyed writing this pairing. Of the het pairings on the show, I think this is one of the few ones that could work.
Finding Your Path in Life - Slash (Carson/Lorne) pre-Atlantis (will continue)
severusslave gave me the idea and the military/doctor relationship is an interesting one for me, so I wrote this. I might get to the Atlantis timeline with this one day, and interesting things might happen.
Birthday Presents - Slash (Carson/John)
This is a very short fic in which I wanted to show how much life in Atlantis has changed them, how they can't relate to Earth things.
Drawing Life - Slash(Carson/John) post-Atlantis
Written for severusslave, it has one of my favourite themes, domestic life ^_^ I really enjoyed writing Carson at home, being a normal doctor on Earth. I plan to write the sequel, as soon as inspiration comes.
Moving On - Slash (Carson/Rodney)
This one is a tag for GUP and it's about getting over your fears, or better said, knowing you'll have to and choosing the best time to do it.
